Contemporary healing is about looking at the psychological issues of fears, emotions and erroneous beliefs, helping to resolve them and coaching the sick person into a healthy orientation. The zeitgeist wants the deep, truthful alignment connected to the heart. This is exactly what applies to future healing work.
The “integral coaching and healing” training I set up includes central exercises of the anthroposophical self-development path. The “General. Requirements, secondary exercises” – mind control, control of actions, equanimity, positivity and impartiality – are taught concretely,
anthroposophical meditation is practiced in detail, and empty consciousness (as a gateway for imagination, inspiration and intuition).
Perception training and knowledge steps are conveyed in a lively manner using many examples. The phenomenological approach to organs and symptoms is cultivated. Anthroposophical human studies is part of the training content. We value and live essential Christian elements such as the I-Am words and the vision of the healthy human being for the therapeutic encounter with the suffering person.
The fact that the cultivation of the values mentioned is a basis for the experience of spontaneous “reverse cultus” was sometimes shown by sublime moments that emerged freely from the group, which had a deeply nourishing, clarifying and ultimately empowering effect.
The concept of the cosmic human also lives meditatively and freely in the learning processes here for healing work.
“Go through your wound and everything can be healed” was also written for non-anthroposophists of the present, with the aim of building a bridge that follows current notable therapeutic developments. Mention should be made here of the users of Alexander Lowen’s bioenergetics in holistic psychotherapy as well as the steps of body-based psychotherapy, the therapists working worldwide in and outside of clinics as Brennan Healing Science Practitioners and some doctors, and finally young approaches by anthroposophists in psychotherapy eurythmy therapy and various holistic medical approaches.
Since my book is written for this world of therapists other than laypeople, I initially used terms that have been used internationally for decades, such as: B. “Emotional body” and thus began a bridge work between anthroposophy and this world of therapists.
Rudolf Steiner used the term “sentient body” for a long time, although rarely, also the “mental body”, the “reverse etheric body” and also the “causal body” (GA 99, further sources in my book). The latter are actually only relevant for healers. Contemporaries such as the physicist and healer Barbara Brennan recognized these parts of being themselves and began to work from them.
In the third edition of my book, I replaced the term “emotional body” with the more appropriate “sentient body”.
I would be happy to exchange ideas with anthroposophists who have made progress in the training path, who can perceive and recognize in the moment, who are really open. It’s not about recognition, but rather about mutual support.
I look forward to meeting really open-hearted people, representatives of living anthroposophy.
Integral coaching and healing is a therapeutic path developed empirically in practice that is entirely dedicated to health. Before that, I practiced the anthroposophical training path for three decades.
When something new comes along, it easily causes confusion among people of habit. In order to prevent this, it should be noted here that Rudolf Steiner’s information on the chakras was given for the initiation path, for the training path in the future development of higher abilities, not for the therapy of “normal” current sick people.
After 27 years of anthroposophical educational experience, I have now worked with suffering people of all ages. Along the way, I gradually developed a more differentiated, concrete way of perceiving people, even into organ situations. In the book you will find case studies that describe this specifically.
In contrast to Steiner’s information about the chakras, this is about the connection of certain individual chakra powers to specific illnesses of today’s people, and ultimately about exercises for healing and recovery.
So there is a completely different objective here with the chakra information than with the initiation path.
It is a new spiritual-therapeutic approach that has been developed here in open-hearted work with thousands of suffering people. The healing effects, reports and feedback speak for themselves.
My whole aim was: How can I help the sick person with mental, spiritual and physical exercises (instead of lifeless substances and devices) in the most tangible, simple and practical way possible?
Presencing also developed, which has increasingly become indispensable for the user of this healing work. Handled and modified authentically, it has proven to be an effective, daily mind-soul-body exercise in health, including socially healthy readiness (self-efficacy), for many colleagues. For the therapist it is essential what kind of consciousness he has, that he is in contact with his (wordless and imageless), psychoenergetic key qualities, can deal with them consciously, i.e. is connected and yet still present with an open heart.
Presencing is help and energy provision for the mental, emotional and physical health of the current person. And that is: living balance and harmonization of the upper, middle and lower human forces; great balance – of forces, not just thoughts and feelings. People need that these days.
The anthroposophist, acting teacher and therapist Herbert Heinz Friedrich recently wrote: “This integral healing is a fundamental new approach to diagnosis (expansion) and therapy. It remains to be hoped that as many people as possible will notice, recognize and implement this.”
I have been repeatedly asked to share and pass on my way of working. This is how the courses, the book and other time-consuming attempts were created to initially offer reading and listening people a bridge to the essentials through words. But only those who openly move forward from their point of view will experience, understand and recognize.
I feel deeply connected to the impulse that Rudolf Steiner expressed with the following words:
I want to ignite every human being from the spirit of the cosmos, so that he becomes a flame and develops his fiery essence. The others, they would like to take water from the cosmos,
which extinguishes the flames,
and watery paralyzes everything inside. -
Oh joy, when the human flame
blazes even where it rests! -
Oh bitterness when the human thing
is tied where it wants to be active.
